What is a raised panel door?

A raised panel door is a cabinet door where the centre portion of the panel is slightly raised in proportion to the surrounding wood surface. In our showroom, we have two very popular raised panel doors which are our Jefferson Range and our Vancouver Vinyl option.

What makes these doors so popular?

Our raised panel doors are very popular amongst customers because of the doors unique ability to be incorporated in both modern and traditional style kitchens. This opening is constructed by placing the panel in grooves which have been cut into the frame of the door. In some raised doors as well, they may also have arches or square edges.

In some designs, these doors can also feature a glass or metal insert which adds a unique touch to the cabinet unit. Raised panel doors can be built from a variety of woods and finishes, which allows them to be easily incorporated into any kitchen.

With our Jefferson range, it features a raised, solid ash frame with a veneered ash panel. To give the doors a grander depth of grain, a brushed finish is applied to complete the door.  Get in touch with us today or drop into our stunning showroom.
