On Sunday 4th November the legendary Liverpool and Republic of Ireland Soccer player Steve Staunton was once again in attendance at the Annual Junior Soccer Academy awards. Both young and old we delighted to have Stephen at the club on the day to present the Junior Academy with their well-deserved accolades.
Tom Glynn of Direct Wholesale Kitchen said “as former chairperson and co-manager of the Edenderry Town first team it was an easy decision to sponsor such a worthy academy and throughout the last three years alone seeing the emerging talent was fantastic.
The enthusiasm throughout the club from not only the mentors but the young people themselves are paving the way for a bright future for the club” Tom thanked Steve Staunton for once again dropping everything to visit Edenderry Town FC and for the positive encouragement to the young boys and girls.
